Outstanding Volunteer Nomination

Rockingham County has a long, proud tradition of volunteerism from citizens who dedicate their time and service in helping others and creating a strong sense of community throughout the county. To recognize these volunteers who positively impact the lives of others, the Rockingham County Board of Commissioners would like to honor a deserving county volunteer each month for using talents and compassion to make a difference.

All volunteers are worthy of recognition, and the Commissioners hope that the implementation of this award will increase awareness of the many volunteer efforts being carried out in communities all over the county and encourage the commitment of new volunteers.

Nomination Guidelines
Nominees must have been engaged in volunteer activities in the county for a minimum of one year.
