Project Eligibility Requirements
- Eligible projects are expected to focus on locations that are unserved. The American Rescue Plan Act treats users as being unserved if they lack access to a wireline connection capable of reliably delivering at least minimum speeds of 25 Mbps download and 3 upload.
- The internet customer will be responsible for establishing Charter Spectrum internet service once access is provided. This agreement allows for up to 2000 feet from the main access line. The customer will bear any expense for distances greater than 2000 feet.
- Customers that already have access to 25 Mbps down or 3 Mbps up will not be eligible. Customer is considered to have access if a connection is available at their address point.
- Customers that are in an area already receiving funding from a different grant for broadband access will not be eligible for this opportunity. Please see RDOF Auction Block. Click on RDOF Auction 904 Winning Bids and zoom into Rockingham County on the map.
- A later phase will be considered in the future for address points that were not originally part of Phase 1.
- Information and access points are subject to change due to eligibility requirements.
