Computer availability varies by location. Requests to reserve a computer for exam purposes must be made one week in advance. Contact your branch for more details.
The library cannot make a guarantee of constant one-on-one monitoring. The proctor will provide a clear work area for testing and periodically monitor the student.
Students may not talk to anyone else during the exam session. Students will not be able to text or use their cell phone during the exam. Cell phones should remain turned off and put away during the exam.
The library does not provide postage or postal supplies. Students should bring the envelope and postage required for the library to return the exam.
The library does not charge for proctoring services at this time.
A private room is provided to take the exam during our regular business hours. Availability of rooms and proctors varies between locations.
Contact the branch a minimum of one week in advance to schedule your appointment.
The proctor will check the student's I.D., sign paperwork as appropriate, print exams that were emailed (charges apply for printing services), give out hard copies that were mailed ahead to the branch, and return postage paid and addressed envelopes to FedEx, UPS and USPS.
Proctors are unable to provide answers or research for test questions.
Library staff is unable to provide their personal information to test takers.
We do not provide remote proctoring services. All testing must take place in-person.
The library does not sell postage. The student must supply their own shipping labels or stamps.
The library is not responsible for shipping errors that result in exams not reaching the college or educational institution. We recommend students take advantage of tracking services directly through the shipper.
