Reserve a Room

Private Study Rooms

Madison-Mayodan Library has two computer lab rooms available for public use. Rooms may be reserved in advance. You may use the room for 1hr and if no one is waiting reserve for an additional hour.  If patron is gone for more than 15 minutes, you forfeit the room. A valid library card or picture ID Must be presented upon use of room.  Exceptions to time limits for testing, job interviews, or specific events, must be obtained in advance from staff.  Call the branch directly to reserve a Private Study Room.

 

Meeting Rooms

  • Meeting Rooms are available for free public use at Eden, Madison-Mayodan, and the Reidsville Libraries.
  • Rooms may not be used for political or religious reasons or to make a profit.
  • Businesses can reserve the rooms for presentations or staff training purposes. 
  • Meetings can take place before or after the library has closed if you put down a $25 deposit.

Eden Library

The Eden Library has two meeting rooms available for public use:

Fieldcrest Room
The Fieldcrest Room provides the most space.  The room can comfortably sit up to 60 people.  Chairs and tables are available for use but must be set out and put up by the person or group using the room.  A projection screen is mounted on the wall in the Fieldcrest Room and the library owns a projector that can be borrowed for presentations.  

North Carolina Room
The North Carolina Room houses the library's North Carolina Collection and is the smaller of the library's two meeting rooms. The room contains a table that can comfortably sit around 8 people.

Madison-Mayodan Library

The Madison Mayodan Library has two meeting rooms available for public use: 

McMichael Community Room
The McMichael Community Room provides the most space at this location.  The room can comfortably sit up to 60 people.  Chairs and tables are available for use but must be set out and put up by the person or group using the room.  A projection screen and flat screen television are mounted on the walls and are available for use with a projector and standard cord or a laptop/device using HDMI hook-up.  This room must be booked in advance for use and requires a $25.00 deposit if used after hours. Deposit is available for refund the next day after room is inspected by staff.

Linda C. Vernon Genealogy Room
This room has two tables available for open use of the public. No reservation is required for use. Please be considerate of those doing research in the room during use of this space.

Reidsville Library

The Reidsville Library has two meeting rooms available for public use:

Wrenn Room
The Wrenn Room provides the most space.  The room can comfortably sit up to 60 people.  Chairs and tables are available for use but must be set out and put up by the person or group using the room.  A projection screen is mounted on the wall in the Room and the library owns a projector that can be borrowed for presentations.  

Small Conference Room
The Small Conference Room contains a table that can comfortably sit eight people.

To book a meeting room, call the Reidsville Library at 336-349-8476. We will ask you to complete paperwork regarding the use of the room which we keep on file for one year. We can only release the room to the person who is on file as responsible for the room.

 

Stoneville Library

The Stoneville Library has a meeting room that can be reserved for 4 hours use if you put down a $100 deposit and pay a $30 fee.  See Vera Holland Community Center for more information below.
