Upon reincorporation, the town of Wentworth contracted with the Rockingham County Sheriff's Office to provide a dedicated Deputy Sheriff to handle day-to-day law enforcement responsibilities within their township.   

 

Deputy Britney Buckner is currently assigned to the Wentworth Patrol position.  When she is unavailable, the Rockingham County Sheriff's Office provides law enforcement services for the township.
