Annual Comprehensive Financial Reports
The Annual Comprehensive Financial Report is divided into four sections:
- The Introductory Section includes information about the County’s organizational structure, the principal officials, and summarizes data reflecting the financial condition of the County.
- The Financial Section includes the independent auditors’ report, the management discussion and analysis (MD&A), the basic financial statements, and government - wide financial statements. The basic financial statements include columns of data that have been summarized from the more detailed statements which follow. The County’s basic financial statements consist of three components: 1) government-wide financial statements, 2) fund financial statements, and 3) notes to the financial statements. The basic financial statements present two different views of the County through the use of government-wide statements and fund financial statements
- The Statistical Section includes selected financial data trends of the County and its operations, along with local demographic and economic information that may be of interest. The data also reflects 10-year revenue and expenditure information for various categories of County operations.
- The Compliance Section presents information in conformity with provisions of the Federal and State Single Audit Acts, which establish audit requirements for state and local governments that receive federal and state assistance. This section includes grant schedules and independent auditors’ reports on the internal control structure and compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
