Rockingham County is a growing rural community, located only minutes from the major metropolitan areas of Greensboro and Winston Salem. The County offers a laid-back and relaxed quality of life, beautiful natural resources such as our four rivers, and a welcoming hometown feel that is harder and harder to find these days. We also offer one of the best economic development opportunities in the nation, being home to major manufacturers such as Ruger, Unifi, Pella, and Nestle Purina. The County is rich with cultural diversity, picturesque rural landscapes, and growing downtown businesses that make Rockingham County a perfect place to work, live, and play.
So, it is my privilege to invite both visitors and residents to see the amazing things Rockingham County has to offer.
