The National Institute of Health (NIH), in partnership with eMed and the UMass Chan Medical School, has launched a FREE, nationwide, home test to treat program for COVID-19. Through this program, individuals can receive 6 free at-home tests, shipped directly to their home, and gain access to free telemedicine services 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. This program is only open to individuals who are 18 years of age or older. Those interested in the program can sign-up anytime, whether they are sick or not. COVID-19 medications prescribed via this program can be delivered directly to patient’s homes or picked up at their preferred local pharmacy.
