WIC FAQs

• Yes.  If you have listed any other designated persons then they may use your eWIC card to shop for groceries. 
  • Be sure they know the PIN number for your eWIC card.

• Call 336-342-8200.
• Complete the Online Referral Form on our website.
• You may also Apply or Request an Appointment in Person.   

• You can check the last receipt.
• Log onto ebtEDGE App.
•  Check the ebtEDGE App.
• Call the eWIC Customer Service at 1-844-230-0813.
• Go to the Customer Service desk at the store and ask them to print out a shopping list for you.
• Contact the WIC office at 336-342-8200 and ask about you benefit balance.

• Ask for a Customer Service Manager or Store Manager.
• If you still are having trouble, call the WIC office at 336-342-8200. 
  • If you can, call from the store, or as soon after the incident as possible, this will help us resolve the issue more easily.  

• You may call the number on the back of your card to follow the prompts to change your PIN number.
• You may go on the ebtEDGE App  to change it.
• Remember, if you enter the PIN number wrong four times in a row, your card will be locked until midnight.

• Contact the WIC office at 336-342-8200 and let them know you have Breastfeeding concerns. 
• They will have a Nutritionist or Breastfeeding Peer Counselor get back with you to help you during WIC business hours.

• Call the WIC office at 336-342-8200 to reschedule.
• You may also respond to the Text Reminder sent to you and someone will get back with you to reschedule the appointment.  
• You may also reschedule a visit at the WIC office in person.

NOTE: Missed Appointments can result in not being issued benefits until the appointment has been completed or benefits may be reduced depending on how far past the issue date your appointment has been.  

• Contact the WIC office at 336-342-8200 and let the staff know you need to change your package and why.
  • A WIC Nutritionist will talk with you and make the changes. 
  • If a prescription is required, the changes cannot be made until a correct prescription is received from your provider.
    • Not all changes can be made for a current month.  This will be discussed when the Nutritionist talks with you about your package.

• Call the WIC office at 336-342-8200 to have your card replaced the same day. If you need this the same day, you will need to come in to the office to pick up your replacement card as we are not able to mail these out.
• You may also call the eWIC Customer Service line at 1-844-230-0813, go on the ebtEDGE App to order a replacement card. 
  • The replacement card is mailed and you should receive the card in 5-7 business days.

• It depends on what type of visit you are completing. 
  • Please contact the WIC office at 336-342-8200 if you have questions about this.

• Please take a picture of the UPC code of the item you were not able to purchase and send it to [email protected].us or contact our office at 336-342-8200.
• Please know the date you tried to purchase the item and the store you were trying to purchase the item from.

• Please call us at 336-342-8200 to let us know your situation. 
  • Many times, we can still accommodate you but may need to reschedule depending on the appointment needs.

• If you are needed at the appointment and are unable to come in, please contact the WIC office at 336-342-8200 to reschedule a time that is convenient for you.
• If you are unable to bring your child, you can have a caretaker or designated person bring them in. 
  • Remember, this person should have been added as an Approved Person when your child was put on the program. 
  • If not, you need to send a note approving them to bring the child and pick up your benefits for that visit.  
    The caretaker or designated person must bring all required information as well as their ID and the eWIC card.
  • You’re visit can be completed by phone due to our new ARPA waivers. Please contact our office at 336-342-8200 for more information on how to have your visit completed by phone.
