Rockingham County Schools

Rockingham County Schools (RCS) provides a safe, dynamic, nurturing, and innovative learning environment to 11,669 students  in grades kindergarten through twelfth grade. They have a total of 12 elementary schools, 4 middle schools, and 4 high schools.

Rockingham County Schools also has one early college high schools (9-12) which operates on the campus of Rockingham Community College in Wentworth as well as one alternative school.

Bethany Community School

Bethany Community School is a charter school for grades 6-12, that focuses on your student. With smaller class sizes and a curriculum built around community engagement, they help students develop the skills and character to be the leaders of tomorrow.

Rockingham Community College

Rockingham Community College is part of the North Carolina Community College System accredited by the Southern Associate of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges to awards associate degrees, diplomas, and certificates.
