Rockingham County Schools (RCS) provides a safe, dynamic, nurturing, and innovative learning environment to 11,669 students in grades kindergarten through twelfth grade. They have a total of 12 elementary schools, 4 middle schools, and 4 high schools.
Rockingham County Schools also has one early college high schools (9-12) which operates on the campus of Rockingham Community College in Wentworth as well as one alternative school.
