The Technical Review Committee was created to review and approve major land subdivisions, in Rockingham County, and to carry out other functions authorized by ordinance.
The TRC is composed of, but is not limited to, the following members: a member of the Planning Board, a licensed engineer, a District Engineer from NC Department of Transportation, a licensed surveyor, and staff members from the Health Department, Soil Conservation Department, Fire Marshal’s Office, and Planning Department.
Meetings are scheduled on an as needed basis. The 2nd and 4th Thursdays of the month are reserved for meetings. Please contact Planning Department staff if you have any questions regarding the technical review committee meeting process.
